Damn it's been ages.
Just re-read the previous post, and I'm glad to say my thoughts haven't changed in the least. It's been a while since I posted it, and I reckon I was thinking my attitude might have changed, but thankfully it hasn't.

The monthly SF meetings are still going strong, and there's a convention in the offing (Satellite 2) next year. A few of us are off to Redemption in Feb, partly to have a great time, and partly to (hopefully) sell some memberships for S2.
